Bulletin Board Designs

This bulletin board goes into more depth on the Home page. This is a motivational board where students add their names to the T-shirts as they pass that number (i.e. testing x1) they put their name on that particular T-shirt. As you can tell, when I took this picture I had some all-star timed tests friends that were up to passing 5 different tests!
Just a fun way to welcome students back from summer break.
It's nice to be able to leave up the majority of the bulletin board, so it is easy to change out as the seasons or units change. They wrote about the 5 senses they experience during fall. There are also some A+ papers I highlighted on the board as well.
I didn't take a picture, but the next one the tree had zero leaves and turned into a winter scene. In the spring, we did opinion writing and students picked their favorite season to write about. So, I decorated the tree with fall leaves, bare branches, flower blooms, and bright green leaves...each representing the 4 seasons.
This bulletin board goes into more depth on the Home page. We studied inventors, and this is my students published work. Above each typed paper is the name of the inventor and their invention.
This board is obviously in the room, but worked very well for this year. I LOVE posting student work, and unfortunately we do not have much space to staple things up in our classrooms in my district. Students loved seeing their work up and showing parents their "brag" section. I would change it up as A papers, writings, and activities would be graded. They were very proud.
This was my Back-to-School bulletin board idea a few years ago. I was able to get students' pictures taken the first day of school in the Reading Garden. This was up for Back-to-School Night.
